21-year-old Clover Hogan has been a climate activist for 10 years. She knows firsthand the struggles with eco-anxiety that plague her generation – those who have inherited the world’s climate crisis, and are told they are the ones that must fix it. Now Clover explains why climate action must start with the one thing we can all control: our mindset. She shows us why we need to challenge the stories that keep us feeling powerless and each take responsibility for protecting the planet for generations to come. Clover Hogan is a 21-year-old climate activist and the founder of Force of Nature: a global non-profit mobilising mindsets for climate action. Clover has worked alongside the world’s leading authorities on sustainability, supported students in 50+ countries to turn eco-anxiety into agency, and consulted within Fortune 500 companies. In her recently launched Force of Nature podcast, she speaks to ordinary people doing extraordinary things to save the planet. Clover is a trustee with Global Action Plan, and on the advisory boards of the National Community Lottery’s Climate Action Fund and the Teach the Future campaign. She is also on the COP26 President-Designate Civil Society and Youth Advisory Council. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
