Ben’s work focuses on challenging traditionally toxic forms of masculinity, and exploring ideas of minimum standards and positive masculinities. He is the Head of Facilitation and Training at The Good Lad Initiative (GLI) and coordinates their workshops in schools and universities. Ben also works with Fearless Futures, an Anti-Oppression organisation, delivering Diversity and Inclusion workshops in corporate spaces. Ben is the Founding Director of SPACE for PSHE which functions as an independent PSHE provision for secondary schools, facilitating important conversations with young people around Relationships and Sex, Race and Power, and Gender Equality. Ben is also the Co Founder of D/ecology. D/ecology exists to facilitate conversations about decolonising shared spaces. D/ecology are currently running training and events on Critical Whiteness and Anti Racist Practice for activists and allies in Scotland, as well as a series of Diversity and Inclusion workshops and consultations with Glasgow Museums.
