London School of Bollywood

Bollywood dance team

The London School of Bollywood (LSB) is the UK’s most innovative Bollywood dance team. Their mission is to create a diverse, open and inclusive place for anyone wishing to express themselves through dance. Determined to reach wider audiences, they run regular classes in central London, host workshops run by prominent artists and perform for audiences from corporate organisations right through to NGOs. In 2017, the LSB competed on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent with a groundbreaking routine on gender fluidity. The team were praised for their high energy, vibrancy and unique performances. Simon Cowell rated the team a ‘10/10’ while Amanda Holden described their performance as an ‘absolute spectacle’.

If you could change one thing about the world through your work, what would it be?

If we could change one thing about the world, it would be the concept of gender binaries and instead encourage acceptance for all across the gender spectrum.

We are beyond borders

“I wasn’t expecting to feel so emotional today about real life stories. It was very, very powerful. Just get out there and talk to people. Get out of your comfort zone. Be more generous.”
